Procedures and Expectations:
In our classes, we use the clip chart as a visual to show students how their day is going. We can clip up for good behavior where students are following expectations and procedures in our class and our school. Students may have to clip down for behavior when not following our expectations and procedures. When a student ends the day on blue, I will not write a note in the planner unless this student continually ends on blue often. If a student ends the day on purple or pink, I will write a note with the specific behaviors and what we conferenced about. Students may earn Maryville Money for following expectations and procedures throughout our school and classroom. The money is saved up each month in our classroom and we deposit it at the end of the month and students have an opportunity to spend some or all of their money. A bank note will go home each month so you will know how much money your child has earned and you can discuss how much your child can spend.
Each classroom has a unique plan for their individual classroom. Please follow your child's classroom expectations and procedures.
